Intervals at the gym

Tough run session planned for tonight – my mid week runs at the moment are designed to get me running at the right intensity and improve speed and pace judgment.

So tonight’s session on the treadmill will be:

10 x 400m (13.8km pace) with 25 secs recovery between each

1 minute rest

4 x 400m (13.8km pace)

Will let you know how I get on. This follows a tough turbo trainer session last night and a cycle into work and back. So will be interesting to see how my legs are.

UPDATE – as expected it hurt. A lot. Ended up going faster than planned (above 14.5 on treadmill on all intervals – increasing to above 15 on last four.)
