Brick Session 2 – The start of Juneathon

First brick session of June last night – 50 minute spin class (with a lot of climbing) at the gym followed by a run home straight after. The run is short (3/4 of a mile) so I tried to keep intensity high and attacked the hill on Latchmere Road.

Not a bad start for the first day of Juneathon.

Quick recap of training over the weekend too while I am here – (haven’t uploaded Garmin data yet so not sure of pace and HRs yet)

Saturday – 1 hour bike session

Sunday – 40km on the bike (around Richmond Park) followed by 6km run

Monday – 7.5km run

  1. Is Brick a bizarre amalgam of the words bike and run? Been a bit confused by that. Good training efforts! June’s going to be a tiring month, I think.
